The search engine Niva competes with Google in the European market with an advertising -free service

With an advertising-free service and by using the same Internet user browsing strategies as Google, the online search engine “Neeva” joins the European market to compete with the most well-known American search engine.
It is significant that the new search engine was established in California in 2019 by former Google employees. Whether the information is sought on the Internet or in a user’s personal files, including e-mail or other digital documents, the search engine may locate it.

The new search engine’s founding partner, Sridar Ramasuami, told German News Agency that Niva does not offer users adverts and does not gather personal data.
Ramsuami assumed control of Google’s advertising operations till 2017. Along with Vivic Rajwanathan, who served as the vice president of Google’s YouTube video broadcast site and was in charge of the site’s commercial exploitation, Ramasuami founded the new engine.

In addition to the free basic service, Niva provides a model for companies that allows a paid service to subscribe at a cost of less than 3 euros per month, and provides additional services such as the password manager or virtual network protocol (VBN) to allow the Internet to browse without revealing the user identity.
Users in Europe can currently only access the search engine’s free edition.

The search engine established its own search index, which contains billions of pages. On the search results page, websites that provide high-quality information are displayed first.
Additionally, Niva enables users to access the programmes they use, like email, drop boxes, wires, jumpe, and others. They can search inside their documents as well.
It is noteworthy that Google still controls the world’s search engines market with a share of 90% of this market.

“Niva can undermine this authority by giving users a more satisfying search and browsing experience.

With a service that is free of advertisements, the search engine Niva competes with Google in the European market.
