Mason Greenwood, a striker for Manchester United, was charged by the British Public Prosecution with attempted rape, coerced dominance, and violence that resulted in physical harm to a young girl.
The 21-year-old is anticipated to face the three charges relating to the same young woman tomorrow, Monday, in front of the investigative judges in Manchester Court.
Greenwood was detained in January of last year after posting a video on YouTube with the caption “to everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood truly done,” which featured a young woman with a bleeding face and bruises all over her body.
Notably, Greenwood has not participated in Manchester United’s training sessions since the first hours the video has been online, and Nike Sports Sticks has terminated its sponsorship of the English midfielder.
