Saudi Arabia and South Africa expect 15 memoranda of understanding and review bilateral relations

Before signing 15 memoranda of understanding, including one between the General Authority for Military Industries in the Kingdom and the South African Armament Foundation for Cooperation in the field of military acquisition, the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields with South African President Cyril Ramafuza, who is currently in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported today, Sunday, that the Saudi Crown Prince and South African President were present for the exchange ceremony of an agreement, a cooperation programme, and memoranda of a bilateral understanding of 15, during which the Saudi and South African sides signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation and exchange of news between the Saudi Press Agency and the South African News Agency, the Minister of Information in charge, and the Chairman of the Board of Dir.

Additionally, the Saudi Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih and Batil signed a memorandum of understanding to work together in the area of directing direct investment. The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Sawah and the South African Transport Minister Vikily April Mbalola also agreed to cooperate in the area of communications and information technology.

The two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of military acquisition between the governor of the Saudi General Authority for Military Industries, Ahmed Al -Ohli and the CEO of the South African armament Foundation, Solomizi, in addition to 11 other notes in a number of fields.
The Saudi South African Investment Forum events took place in Jeddah on Saturday, in front of representatives from the two nations’ investment departments.

In the presence of top government figures and influential businesses from the two nations, the Saudi Ministry of Investment is slated to host a round table today, Sunday.

South Africa and Saudi Arabia plan to reassess their bilateral relations and sign 15 memoranda of agreement.
