This is how Sawiris violates the facts and the church’s own evidence regarding the causes of the fire, claiming it was started intentionally, the speaker added.
In Upper Egypt, condolences are not accepted until the details of the accident are revealed and the offender is identified, thus I didn’t want to send one before understanding the nature of the disaster. God is the avenging one, and it is he who will secure the rights of the victims. Since everyone who worships God is grieved, my condolences go out to the whole Egyptian population, including both Muslims and Christians.
Because in Upper Egypt we do not accept condolences until we know the specifics and know the culprit, I did not want to write them before I understood the circumstances of the tragedy, stated Naguib Sawiris on Twitter. When everyone is grieving for the church fire victims among our families and children, what does Naguib Sawiris want and why does he continue to foment strife in the motherland? As a result, Sawiris rejects the evidence as well as the church’s own account of its causes.
