Today’s activities .. The “Poetry Theater” symposium on the top of culture and a caricature exhibition at the Library of Alexandria

Several cultural and artistic events will take place today, Sunday, October 16, 2022, in a number of creative bodies and centres, including:
The Cultural Industries Administration Lecture will be organised by the Supreme Council for Culture and delivered by Dr. at six o’clock in the evening through the Committee for the Development of Cultural Administration and its laws.

Dr. Safwat Al-Nahhas, President of the Committee for the Development of Cultural Management and its legislation in the Council; Head of the Central Organization and Management Central Agency, introduces the lecture and is followed by Mohamed Abdel Dayem, Advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports for Entrepreneurship Affairs and member of the Committee for the Development of Cultural Administration.

The Supreme Council of Culture – the Poetry and theater committees organizes the symposium “Poetry Theater in the East and West”, at 7 pm, the symposium will be held with the participation of a number of specialists, including: Dr. Ahmed Mujahid, Professor of Drama at the Faculty of Arts . . Ain Shams University, and Dr. Reem El -Bardisi , Assistant Professor of English Literature at the Girls College . . Ahmed Abdel Razek Abu Al-Ela, a poet and theatre critic from Ain Shams University.

The Library of Alexandria, through the House of Senari, in cooperation with the Egyptian Cartoon Association, will host an open art exhibition for the public under the title: “Abdel Aziz Taj”, within the series of Egyptian cartoonist exhibitions, on Sunday, October 16, at exactly six, at the headquarters of the archaeological house in the neighborhood in the neighborhood Mrs.

The legendary cartoonist Abdel Aziz Taj’s artwork is included in an exhibition at Zainab in Cairo that describes his distinctive mark and style and chronicles his artistic career, which lasted for around 50 years of cartoon-related creation.

Princess Khadija Palace of the Library of Alexandria has organised a workshop at its headquarters in Helwan for young people to learn the craft of making jewellery out of copper metal. The workshop aims to teach participants the craft of making jewellery by outlining the history of the jewellery industry in Egypt from the Pharaonic era through the Coptic and Islamic ages, as well as the types of raw materials and metals used in jewellery making.
