“There were already training courses on the Hautezer-Cesar defence, but the size of the exercises will now rise a little,” said France of its plans to train close to 2000 Ukrainian soldiers.
Lecorno further noted that the training will be divided into three stages: first, the fighters’ basic instruction; second, the Ukrainians’ specific requests for logistical support; and third, the training of Ukrainian-origin weapons.
Just a few days ago, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the delivery of six Hautezer -Cesar defender, in addition to radar systems and other anti -aircraft missiles.
18 Hautezer-Cesar aircraft have already been delivered by France to Ukraine.
The French plan to train around 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
