Al -Ahly board member crowned an international medal in karate after 8 years of retirement

Muhannad Majdi, former world champion in Al -Karate and a member of Al -Ahly’s board of directors, crowned the bronze of Turkey’s Open, after announcing the game retirement by 8 years.
Magdy had won the Mahmoud Al-Khatib list’s nomination for the Al-Ahly board of directors seat for a second consecutive session and in the elections conducted in November.

“Today, after 8 years of retirement, I decided to return to compete in an international championship again,” Majdi posted through his official Facebook account.
He added: “Despite the anxiety of all those around if it is from injury or loss, but I am all that myself in it is that I return to play and feel the player’s feeling of time.

” Magdy continued: “The feeling of anxiety, rapid heartbeat, tension before each championship, desire to win and success, and the sweetness of you represent your country and encourage the name of Egypt, the meanings of the one who was missing it and you will not know its value except those who retired. ”
Finally, he stated: “The most significant thing, Jawaya, is that I overcame the fear barrier.

Under the direction of Ayman Abdel Hamid, Majdi was notable for winning 25 different medals, including the bronze medal at the World Youth Cup in Cyprus, Egypt’s first medal ever in this competition.
He won 50 different medals for the national team, bringing his overall personal medal tally to 75, which included medals from both the world and Mediterranean championships.

After eight years of retirement, an Al-Ahly board member won an international medal in karate.
