At least 20 people were killed in a traffic accident in Colombia

The bus toppled on a highway in southwest Colombia on Saturday, causing at least 20 fatalities and 15 injuries, according to the police.
The incident happened as the bus was making its way 320 kilometres (km) to the northeast from the seaside cities of Tomako in southwest Colombia.
Captain Albertland Agodilo of the Narino Province Traffic Police stated, “Unfortunately, we recorded the killing of 20 persons.”

The National Police’s Colonel Oscar Lamboria, who oversees traffic and transportation, stated that the bus being pushed up to the brake system is the hypothesis under investigation.
According to the preliminary information, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while it was leaving a corner that was difficult to see because of fog.
To get the injured to the numerous hospitals in the area, rescue crews must wait longer than nine hours.

Colombia saw a fatal road accident that claimed at least 20 lives.
