Focus Saskatchewan returns to Global News with in-depth investigative stories

This weekend marks the beginning of a brand-new season of Focus Saskatchewan, which you can watch here on Global News.
Each episode will go deeply into the most well-known Saskatchewan stories while also uncovering lesser-known ones from the Prairies.
Each Saturday, new stories on the Saskatchewan people, the troubled healthcare system, the premiers’ desire for greater independence from Ottawa, and other investigations will air.
There will be one episode per week, airing at 6:30 Central Time.
On Oct.

15, Focus Saskatchewan The season opens with a detailed examination of the stabbings that took place in Weldon, Saskatchewan, and the James Smith Cree Nation.
The hunt for the suspects, the accounts of the victims and survivors, and the appeals to stop something similar from happening again are the main themes of the episode. It was a confusing period for everyone throughout the manhunt because there were little details available.

Focus Saskatchewan will use Global’s exclusive reporting to show the actual events that occurred, and viewers will be able to hear from the key participants who have never discussed the matter publicly.
A person who called the RCMP 24 hours before the attacks started was the widow of Damien Sanderson, who was at the time one of the main suspects in the inquiry.
“They let me down. I made an effort to save my hubby. They know – I knew that wasn’t my husband.

Myles was feeding my husband something that I wasn’t aware of, she added, and I knew it.
The show will also delve deeply into the exchange between Damien and the RCMP, examine the legality of seeking identification, and explore the reasons why a police officer could choose not to request it.
Additionally, viewers can anticipate learning about possible first nations police services and their potential appearance.
On October 15, 2022, Global News Regina and Saskatoon will debut Focus Saskatchewan.

Back on Global News, Focus Saskatchewan will present in-depth investigative reports.
