Putin decides to waive the Russian anti -sanctions of the United States and European countries

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, signed a presidential decree for waiver of extraordinary economic measures today, on Saturday, against nations and organisations that were deemed unbalanced for Russia in March.
On its website, the Russian news agency “TASS” claimed that Moscow’s special economic measures were a response to the irrational actions taken by other nations and organisations who joined the United States in imposing economic sanctions against Russia.

A number of foreign funds and development banks, including the new development bank of the “Brix” group, the Asian Bank for Infrastructure Investment, the World Bank for Economic Cooperation, the International Investment Bank, and the Russian Development Fund-Kyrgyz, were also exempt from the special economic measures, according to the Russian presidential decree.

In light of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, which began on February 24, the United States of America, some European Union nations, and international financial and economic institutions imposed economic sanctions against Russia. In response, Russia responded by taking countermeasures.

Putin makes the decision to lift the United States and European Union anti-sanctions against Russia.
