France lacked the restart of 5 nuclear reactors to generate electricity

The reactivation of five nuclear reactors that had been idled has been announced by France Electricity Company. As winter approaches, this could put increased pressure on energy prices. France generates about 70% of its electric capacity of 56 nuclear reactors, but 30 reactors are currently stopping either for routine maintenance work or because of corrosion in some emergency cooling systems.

Many nuclear power plants saw worker strikes over the past period, which forced the government to shut down the reactors for maintenance.
In September, the heavy debt company, which the government began to completely nationalize, said that the decline in electricity generation due to problems in its reactors would reduce its operating profits by 29 billion euros (29 billion dollars) in the year 2022, which is worse than it was expected before.

The strike is real, I can confirm that, a France Electricity official told AFP on Saturday.
It may affect the timeline for restarting production at some stations and result in a brief decrease in energy output at some of the currently operational reactors. Reactor restart times can take anywhere between one day and three weeks.

Five nuclear reactors needed to be restarted in France in order to produce power.
