The promising combat robot Marker, which may be used by the Aerospace Forces to kill drones, was unveiled on Monday, August 15 on the outskirts of Moscow at the Army 2022 military-technical event.
The new future robot was on display at the Roskosmos Foundations booth, after being tested at the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
The robot was shown in two variations: one on a tracked platform and one on wheels.

Marker is a three-tonne automated technical complex that was constructed with the support of the Promising Future Research Fund. The robot is equipped with a range of weapons, including air defence systems. The agility of the robot is differentiated by its capacity to recognise targets with the use of artificial intelligence technology.

The Marker was tested while scanning space infrastructure installations to detect and identify anybody attempting to access and traverse the regions to be guarded, as well as to prevent terrorist attacks and counter-drones.
The Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian National Guard want to use the Marker robot as a short-range air defence system capable of eliminating small and suicidal drones.

The Army-22 forum has a fighting robot that can smash marches and protect space airports.
