Russian Foreign Ministry: NATO failed in Ukraine

Moscow and the West, particularly NATO countries, have been at an all-time high since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and today the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that NATO had lost the war in Ukraine.
Alexander Grushko, the deputy foreign minister of Russia, claimed that the alliance had failed to carry out the Western plan to make Ukraine “hostile to his country.”

He also thought about how NATO could stop the situation in Ukraine from getting worse, but he decided against it and said that NATO is only escalating the situation and increasing the risk.
Grushko mentioned in an interview with TASS on Saturday that Moscow had warned over many years of the consequences of entering Georgia and Ukraine to the alliance, stressing that this would be a time bomb at the European Security base.

It warned that this bomb would blow sooner or later if it was not reviewed after 2007, when the alliance made the decision in Bucharest, he said.
In addition, he saw that the West exceeded the red line by attacking the Crimea Bridge, in reference to the bombing that was carried out a few days ago on the bridge and left significant losses.

It is significant that the impact of the Russian military operation on the territory of the Western neighbour, which has been ongoing for months, has reached the maximum levels of tension between Moscow and the West.
NATO Secretary -General Yenos Stoltenberg has repeatedly confirmed that the member states of the defensive alliance are united in supporting Kyiv, punishing Moscow, and preventing the victory of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Additionally, he emphasised numerous times that any nation may join the alliance freely, despite repeated warnings from the Kremlin against its growth, which presents a threat to Russia as a whole. .
