The American National Security Adviser discusses with his Czech counterpart to support Ukraine and energy security

Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser for the United States, and Thomas Boujar, the national security adviser for the Czech Republic, spoke about collaboration in the defence sector, energy security, and other topics of shared interest.

In a statement released today (Saturday), the White House said that “National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, met today with Thomas Boujar, the Czech National Security Adviser, and expressed their strong commitment to continuing their support for Ukraine on the political, military, and economic fronts, as well as their continued readiness to impose sanctions on Russia as a result of its actions.

According to the statement, the parties also “discussed energy security and the Czech Republic’s presidency of the European Union Council, and they welcomed the deepening of defence cooperation between the United States and the Czech Republic, including by setting up a defensive cooperation agreement between the two countries.
