Extending the period of opening the door for the “evening tales” competition from the nationalism of the child’s culture

The National Center for Child Culture, under the direction of playwright Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, decided to extend the deadline for submissions for the “evening tales” competition, which the centre sponsors in collaboration with Egyptian radio, until the first of next November due to the school year starting later than anticipated and the lack of time for kids to enter the contest.

The competition prizes range from monetary to in-kind gifts given by some official cultural institutions and public figures, and the requirements for applying for the competition have been announced that the topic of the competition be “towards a better environment” and that only one short story is presented to the contestant, the contestant’s age must not exceed 18 years, the story presented must not exceed 1,000 words, provided that it has n.

The work must be written in Word format, and handwritten submissions will not be accepted. The participating works must also include a copy of the contestant’s birth certificate or a national identification card and be sent to the private email address of the cultural programme that is broadcast on Facebook.

In addition to publishing the winning works in some magazines with a focus on children’s literature, the competition awards include monetary and in-kind prizes from some official cultural institutions, celebrities, and the National Center for Child Culture, as well as a printed work for the National Center for Child Culture’s winning stories.
