On Friday, Laura Holgate informed the Special Assistant to the US President and the Director of the US National Security Council’s Anti-threats to Weapons of Mass Destruction that Vladimir Putin’s use of nuclear weapons would likely have “devastating ramifications” and “a series of unanticipated results.”
Laura said – in an interview with the American newspaper “The Hill” – that although Washington and Moscow does not seem to be in a state of “mutual reassurance regarding destruction”, the possible consequences are no less dangerous.
Putin’s nuclear weapons threats may only refer to the so-called tactical nuclear bomb, but it doesn’t mean there’s any need to let up on a lesser scale, according to speculation.
