An important and well-known aspect of the ancient Egyptian civilization is that it developed on the banks of the Nile River. When a person arrived at the river and his feet were wet with its water, everything changed. He said goodbye to the life of the deserts, chasing the monsters, and he settled and built Beta, planted the ground, and raised a family. These words are undisputed.
The river is flowing with its water from the south to the north, carrying tales and stories with the people of the nation that it passes through. As he approaches the villages on his banks, he hears and sees the conditions of the servants and is aware of their joys and sorrows. He loves everyone and is especially fond of the Friends of the Nile, but who are these friends?
They are the hunters who choose to spend the majority of their time with the water moving toward the north, to converse with the river, to ride their boats and spend the day in the water, to complain to them, and to share their joys with them.

The pharaohs were familiar with hunting in the river since ancient times, and they depicted this on the temple walls and took pictures of them in the cold. Their grandchildren still hunt in the river every morning; one of them washed his hands in the water and performed two rak’ahs of prayer on the river’s bank before asking God to grant his request. However, God does not fulfil his promise to him.
Hunting is associated with patience, and in the Nile in particular, the hunter descends the river without knowing what is waiting for him. He trusts in what God has written for him, whether it is abundant or meagre, and works diligently and honestly every day to support himself.
