The Russian government reveals joint future projects with Saudi Arabia in the field of energy

Alexander Novak, the deputy prime minister of Russia, stated today, Friday, that cooperative petrochemical projects on Saudi and Russian soil are being discussed between Russia and Saudi Arabia.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister stated in a television interview conducted on the sidelines of his participation in the “Russian Energy Week” forum currently taking place in Moscow, “We and Russian companies are interested in implementing joint projects in the field of petrochemical in both Saudi Arabia and Russia.”

According to Novak, the two nations’ relations are developing quickly, and nearly all potential areas of collaboration are being addressed as part of the joint international government committee’s work, including transportation, energy, and construction.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that Russian businesses are prepared to support and investigate activities in Saudi Arabia with regard to renovating and constructing thermal energy plants as well as in the area of renewable energy sources.
We collaborate in the oil and gas industry, and we have plans to create equipment together. The majority of the projects sponsored by a Russian-Saudi investment fund are located in Russia, but there are also plans to carry out projects in Saudi Arabia.
