The Zamalek Gallery will host two art exhibitions on Sunday, October 16th, at precisely six o’clock in the evening, in the presence of a number of public figures and visual artists, one by the artist Amina Al-Demerdash, titled “A Poem of the Self,” and the other by the artist Thuraya Fahmy, which is titled “Strange Living.”
A special exhibition of the Alexandrian artist by Dr. Zamalek opened the new season for the year 2022-2023.
“The Wisdom of Shadow and Patent of Light,” by Mohamed Shaker.
The plastic artist, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaker, is the former dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, and the full professor of the photography department, and many artists have been educated on his hands, and he also contributed to beautifying many public and private projects for his distinguished artworks from mosaic murals and colored glass.
In addition to having his works purchased by individuals, recognised institutions, and national and international governmental organisations, the artist Mohamed Shaker also contributed to the beautification of numerous public and private projects with his artwork. He also worked as a lecturer in the fields of culture and the arts at Alexandria University and the directorates of culture in Alexandria, Aswan, Dakahlia, Beheira, and Qalyubia.
Mohamed Shaker also participated in several exhibitions, including the First International Luxor Forum for Photography in Luxor, 2008, an exhibition of plastic arts within the Frankfuna celebration in New Delhi – India in March 2010, the “Art and Peace” exhibition at the Egyptian Cultural Center in Vienna in November 2013.
