United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres announced that he will launch an action plan to provide early disaster warning systems, at the twenty -seventh conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COB 27) in Sharm El Sheikh.
In a tweet posted on Twitter today, Thursday, Guterres stated that although extreme weather events will continue to occur, we may be able to stop them from becoming catastrophic disasters.
He added that in a cup 27 he will launch an action plan to provide early warning systems for everyone within 5 years. Governments, international financial institutions, and civil society were asked to support them by Guterres.
At the «COP 27» climate conference, Guterres presents a plan to deploy early warning systems to warn of calamities.
