Donetsk’s separatists: The Russian forces are approaching Bakhmout

The Russian forces appear to be slowly regaining their momentum after experiencing a setback in recent weeks against Ukrainian forces, particularly in the northeastern and southern regions of the country.
She is outside of Bakhthout after it seized control of two other villages, according to a statement made on Thursday by Russian-aligned forces in the Donetsk region.

The Russian forces reportedly took possession of the towns of Obitny and Ivangrad, which are situated in South Bakhmout, the city that the Russians have been attempting to take control over since last August, according to rebel militants in Donetsk who posted on the Telegram messaging app.

It is situated on a significant route that connects to the cities of Slovensk, which has desalination facilities, and the city of Karmamorsk, both of which are in the regional territory of Donbas, which is not entirely under the control of the Russian military.

It is noteworthy that the past weeks have witnessed progress for the Ukrainian forces as a result of a counter -attack that they launched to restore lands that remained under Russian control for months, and they have already managed to restore many towns in the northeast and south.
The Russian soldiers, however, later revealed that they had left some areas in the east and south so they could reconstitute their ranks.

In order to establish a land corridor between the East and the South in the Crimea, which Russia annexed to its territory in 2014, the Russians want to control the entire Donbass Basin.
