Jim Liu has been named CEO of Huawei Egypt, according to a statement made today by Huawei Information and Communications Technology Solutions.
In his new post, Jim Liu will be responsible for improving Huawei’s position in delivering ICT solutions as well as contributing to the growth of Egypt’s technology industry. He will also be responsible for developing strategic partnership between the public and private sectors in order to accelerate digital transformation and ensure long-term sustainability.
Liu joined Huawei in 2005 and has extensive experience overseeing the company’s operations. He has held a number of leadership positions in which he was instrumental in growing the company’s business in the many countries where he has worked, most recently as CEO of Huawei in Congo.
After entering office, Jim Liu, CEO of Huawei Egypt, indicated that the business is keen to convert Egypt into a regional digital hub by providing full support to the Egypt Vision 2030 sustainable development strategy.
