On Tuesday night, a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Brisbane was forced to do a U-turn due to an altercation that broke out in midair.
According to reports, the brawl started 24 minutes into the trip.
Two males can be seen punching each other in video of the event.
An airline passenger described the situation as “extremely horrifying” to 9News Melbourne.
“There was a commotion, there was yelling, people started standing up, it went on for a couple of minutes,” they said.
A individual who had blood on his face was led to the back of the aircraft at that point.
The airline has “zero tolerance for disruptive and aggressive behaviour,” a Jetstar representative told 9News.
According to the Australian Federal Police, no arrests have been made.
