The Paris Saint-Germain Sergio Ramos team was given a three-game suspension by the French Football League’s disciplinary committee, including one suspended game, on Wednesday.
The committee condemned the former veteran captain of Real Madrid, 36, to direct the words of Nabiya, referee Pierre Gayst in the match against host Rennis on Saturday in the tenth stage of the league when he was expelled in the 42nd minute for the 28th time in his professional career.
Ramos will miss both the trip to Agaxio on October 21 and the El Clásico match against Marseille on Sunday at the Park de Brans stadium.
Ramos’ suspension is a hard blow to Kristov Galtye, the Saint Germain head coach, who has lost Priestl Kembembe and the Portuguese left defender Nuno Mendesh to injury.
