Jihan Jaafar, the Iraqi victim of the indecent attack by Egyptian preacher Abdullah Rushdie, testified before the Egyptian Public Prosecution.

net” that Abdullah Rushdi was the subject of a communication filed against her in which she claims he sexually assaulted her and coerced her into claiming it Marriage with her healing, and that she arrived in Cairo on October 2 as a result of her lawyer informing her of the necessity of her travelling to Egypt. She continued by saying that she had given the prosecution full information and requested permission to confront the preacher and address his claims and assertions.
She declared that she would not give up her right to sue the preacher, especially in light of the threats Rushdie’s supporters had made to drop the case and the psychological pressure and defamation campaigns that had an adverse effect on her reputation. She also expressed her happiness at the Egyptian authorities’ interest in her cause.

The 30-year-old Iraqi woman previously spoke to Al Arabiya.net where she described the specifics of the occurrence. She also claimed that she is Kurdish, divorced from an Egyptian man, and met Abdullah Rushdi months earlier after consulting a religious app on Facebook Messenger. Rushdie requested that she leave Bulgaria, where she currently resides, come to Egypt, and be formally subjected to marriage when she pointed out that the relationship had overpowered her with admiration.
They sat down to agree on the editing of an official marriage contract, she said, adding that their meetings took place in two apartments, one in Obour and the other in one of the newer cities east of Cairo.
