According to French newspaper rumours, Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo will attend the Golden Ball, which is scheduled for next Monday night in Paris.
According to the newspaper “Le Parisien”, the Portuguese star Ronaldo decided to attend the Golden Ball party, in order to watch the crowning of his former colleague, French star Karim Benzema, the Real Madrid striker, as he is the first candidate for winning it.
The United star is on the list of contenders for the Golden Ball Award in 2022, but he is not even close to contending for the prize that has been given out five times in a row.
Veteran French star Karim Benzema presented a great season with Real Madrid, during which he succeeded in crowning the Champions League title, in addition to the Spanish and Spanish League title.
The list of contenders for the 2022 Golden Ball Award, or “Balloon Dor,” was recently made public by the “France Football” magazine and featured 30 players, including English striker Mohamed Salah and Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah.
