Lotto Max jackpot has never gone unclaimed this long, OLG says

On Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, there were a number of significant winners in Ontario, including six Maxmillion winners, but the jackpot was once again unclaimed.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG), tickets purchased in York Region, Scarborough, Burlington, and Woodbridge were the winners of four $1 million Maxmillion awards apiece.
Two Maxmillion prizes worth $500,000 each were won by tickets sold in Barrie and on OLG. ca. Two second-prize pool tickets that won $105,716.

70 of each were offered for sale in Scarborough and on OLG.
Finally, a ticket purchased in York Region was the winner of the $100,000 Encore prize.
There have been 18 drawings since the last Lotto Max jackpot winner, according to the OLG, and this is the longest time a jackpot has ever gone unclaimed. The previous record was 16 consecutive draws, which occurred last year, according to the OLG.
Friday’s draw will be the second-largest in the game’s history, with $130 million in top prizing available: a $70 million jackpot and 60 $1 million Maxmillion prizes.
