German oil supplies are secure despite the leak in the Drogba pipeline

Today, Wednesday, the German Ministry of Economy in Berlin stated that despite the breach that was found in the Drogba pipeline coming from Russia, German oil supplies are secure.
The Shefit Refinery in Brandenburg and the Leona refinery in Saxony-Alasal are still getting crude oil through the pipeline, according to a ministry spokesperson.
The official continued, “Each BCK refinery has recovered, and Lyona has purposefully expanded its oil store on the site in recent weeks as a precaution.”

They also receive oil from other locations, including Wagansk, Poland, and Rostock in northern Germany.
Earlier in the day, the Polish company “Bern” operating the “Drogba” pipeline, which transports crude oil from Russia to Germany, announced that it had discovered a leakage in the line, and added that its cause is unknown.

The leak was found late on Tuesday in one of the pipeline’s western sector branches, around 70 kilometres from the Polish city of Potk, according to “Bern” newspaper.

Despite the Drogba pipeline leak, the German oil supply is safe.
