This occurred during the discussions between French Foreign Minister Catherine Culona and Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtan Lamamra that took place today at the Algerian Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in the nation’s capital. Culona was in Algeria for the fifth session of the Algerian-French joint-level government committee.

The two ministers acknowledged their delight with the joint government committee’s fifth session, which resulted in the signing of more than ten collaboration mechanisms in a variety of disciplines, according to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

France and Algeria have decided to further up their political exchanges and keep working toward a bilateral relationship.
