Canada stresses its commitment to providing more support to Ukraine

Following Moscow’s attacks on multiple Ukrainian districts earlier today, Justin Trudeau, Canada’s prime minister, emphasised his nation’s resolve to helping Ukraine more in order to fend off the Russian invasion.
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Trudeau stated that his nation’s support for Ukraine “will include the continuation of military aid,” decrying the ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian people and promising to hold Moscow responsible.

This comes as the Russian army began missile strikes this morning in several sections of Ukraine, hitting residential areas in the country’s capital Kyiv and other cities and villages.
In press remarks issued today, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed that Russia had conducted missile attacks in reaction to the explosion that took place on Saturday on the only bridge connecting the seized Crimea to the rest of the country.

The Russian attacks started today are the most extensive since the early days of the conflict in February, according to the BBC network in Ukraine.
