According to the Red Sea Ports Authority’s media centre, 460 automobiles, 590 trucks, and 44,000 tonnes of diverse and general items were transferred.
According to the centre, the movement of imports consisted 5,000 tonnes of goods, 343 vehicles, and 441 cars, while the movement of exports included 39,000 tonnes of goods, 247 trucks, and 19 cars, according to a news statement published by the authority today, Sunday.
According to him, the Safaga port saw the departure of the ship Eastern Daphne, which was carrying 34,000 tonnes of phosphates for Indonesia, as well as the two ships Freedom 2 and Poseidon Express. The port also saw the arrival of the ship Amal, and the ships Sina and Amman were received by the Nuweiba port. The authority’s ports confirmed the arrival and journey of 1050 people when the ship Baniyas 2 arrived at Port Tawfiq port from Jeddah.
44 thousand tonnes of various and unspecified items are handled by the Red Sea ports.
