Arsenal beat Liverpool to regain top spot in the Premier League

On Sunday, at the top of the tenth round of the game, Arsenal defeated its guest Liverpool 4-2 to retake the lead in the English Premier League.
After 57 seconds of play, Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli progressed to Arsenal with a goal from inside the penalty area following a perfectly placed pass from Martin Odegaard.
After a cross from Colombian Luis Diaz, Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez tied the score for Liverpool in the 34th minute with a shot from inside the penalty area.

Taking advantage of a cross from Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal the lead once more in the last seconds of the first half.
Before Bukayo Saka came back and converted a penalty kick in the 76th minute to score his second individual goal and the team’s third, Liverpool’s Brazilian substitute Roberto Firmino equalised in the 53rd minute.

Arsenal increased his score to 24 points to retake first place in the Premier League standings, one point ahead of the defending champion Manchester City, who defeated Southampton yesterday by a score of 4-1 with no reply.
Liverpool’s score, which put it in tenth position, remained at 10 points.
