Science Center for children to launch on October 13

CAIRO – 9 October 2022: On October 13, The Children’s Center for Civilization and Creativity (The Children’s Museum) will open the first children’s-only science centre in the Middle East.
The Science Center will be the first to do this in a fun way, allowing kids to learn about and explore the phenomena around them through the center’s hands-on activities and exhibitions.

The Science Center is a platform for kids that strives to offer an engaging and contemporary education, according to Nabil Helmy, chairman of the board of directors of the Heliopolis Association. Through a variety of exhibitions and activities on the natural and applied sciences as well as space exploration, it focuses on the future and inspires kids to innovate and enjoy science.

This comes in line with the state’s vision to provide educational and recreational programs designed specifically for children.
Helmy explained that the new science center is the first of its kind in the Middle East that is friendly to the differently abled children.   
Additionally, the center will integrate static interactive exhibits with hands-on, changing activities for children, families, and school groups for an exciting experience. .

This is consistent with the state’s goal of offering programmes for children-only recreation and education.
The new science centre is the first of its kind in the Middle East, according to Helmy, and is welcoming to youngsters with special needs.
The facility will also combine static interactive exhibits with dynamic, hands-on activities for kids, families, and school groups to provide an engaging experience.
