Sudan.. Daglo denies the existence of differences between him and Al-Burhan

Al-Madina News: Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the vice-president of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, denied on Sunday the claims made by some media outlets that there were disagreements between him and Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the head of the Sovereign Council, and that prominent members of the Native Administration intervened to settle them.

He clarified in a statement that there were no issues between him and the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, calling the rumours that were being spread as untrue and unfounded.
He also outlined how the proponents of these charges hoped to stoke public outrage while urging the media to report news with credibility and avoid falling for false rumours.

It is noteworthy that Sudan, one of the world’s poorest nations, has been mired in political and economic stagnation since October 25, 2021, when the army imposed extraordinary measures and toppled the previous government, despite all the efforts of the African Union and the United Nations to start dialogue sessions that result in a resolution.

Despite the Armed Forces Commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, declaring since last July 2022 that the military component will not interfere in political life, not all UN and African mediators have been successful in pressuring the political parties to form a new government.
While the “Freedom and Change” forces, the biggest civil bloc in the nation, saw nothing more than a “tactic” in these declarations or the effort.

Sudan’s Daglo disputes that he and Al-Burhan have any problems.
