Chelsea cross Wolverhampton and continue their victories with coach Potter

On Saturday, Chelsea defeated struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to earn their first home Premier League victory under new coach Graham Potter. Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, and Armando Broja each scored a goal.

Chelsea continued their winning streak versus Wolverhampton, who had previously fired his coach, as a result of his dominance in the game. Chelsea defeated its host Crystal Palace in the closing seconds of their first encounter with Potter, before thrashing Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Chelsea made 12 shots in the first half, including four on goal, and collected the ball at a rate of 70%, but they missed several opportunities, and goalkeeper Jose Sa was outstanding.

Sa, who was off his line and unable to save a header that sailed over him and into the net following a cross from Mason Mount, allowed Havertz to give the hosts a lead at the end of the first half.
In the first half, Pulisic missed a number of opportunities and struck a ball that Sa narrowly missed, but he scored 10 minutes into the second half after exchanging passes with Mount and sending the ball over the advancing goalkeeper.

On a perfect evening for coach Potter, Boja scored the third goal off a feed from Mateo Kovacic as Wolverhampton posed no threat.
