Bloomberg News reported on Saturday that the death toll from Storm Ian in the United States has grown to 100, making it the third worst hurricane to strike the American mainland in a decade.
Nine days after Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida with gusts of 150 mph (240 kph), which devastated buildings, unleashed floods, and knocked out electricity to 2. 6 million homes and businesses, the number of reported deaths in three states is still rising.
