New strike disrupts rail services in Britain to demand higher wages

Due to a rail union strike on Saturday, which was called because of record inflation, rail services were affected in Britain.
According to a report by Monte Carlo International TV, train companies had urged riders not to board a train unless it was “absolutely necessary.”
This comes following a disruption in the passage of trains last Wednesday and a second strike by four unions on October 1st, during which British railways were all but shut down.

A total of 15 railway operators and roughly 40,000 members of the RMT union working for Network Rail are currently on strike in favour of better pay and working conditions.
Mick Lynch, the general secretary of the RMT, urged the government to permit business owners to negotiate a contract with labour unions.

British rail services are disrupted by a new strike calling for higher salaries.
