Yemeni forces thwart Houthi military operations on several fronts

According to media reports, Yemeni soldiers declared today, Saturday, that they had stopped Houthi military assaults on many fronts.
It was emphasised by the Arab alliance that it will take “operational steps to protect civilians and civilian objects from enemy strikes.”
Additionally, the coalition charged the Houthis with committing “hostile attacks against innocent civilians in Marib,” claiming that these actions “contravene human values and the fundamentals of international humanitarian law.”

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia has served as the leader of the Arab coalition conducting extensive military operations in Yemen in support of President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi’s internationally recognised government while battling Iranian-backed Houthi forces that have been in control of Sanaa since 2014.
