The delayed response by the Danish police was “seriously” criticised by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The attack on a woman and an ambassador who is protected by diplomatic immunity occurred in the middle of Europe, and the police were not present when they should have been, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
