The dollar rises against the Syrian pound today, Friday, October 7, 2022

On Friday, October 7, 2022, during trading on the black market, the value of the dollar increased in Syria.
With the Syrian economy continuing to deteriorate, the Syrian pound lost all of its gains from yesterday’s trading.
In order to track currency exchange rates in Syria on the underground market, the price of the dollar increased today to 4,820 pounds from 4,790 pounds yesterday.

The Syrian Central Bank decreased the official exchange rate over the previous month from 2,814 pounds to 3015 pounds to the dollar. Despite the decrease, there is still a significant disparity between the official rate and the black market rate, which can reach up to 1,000 pounds to the dollar.

Additionally, the price of the euro today in Syria was 4732 pounds for purchases and 4767 pounds for sales during transactions on the unauthorised (black) parallel market.
On the unofficial parallel market in Syria, the price of the sterling pound dropped today to 5380 pounds for purchases and 5424 pounds for sales.
Today in Syria, the unofficial (black) parallel market saw the Saudi riyal trade for roughly 1281 pounds for purchases and 1292 pounds for sales.

While the price of the Emirati dirham today in Syria was around 1,310 pounds for purchases and 1,321 pounds for sales on the unofficial (black) parallel market.
The price of the Kuwaiti dinar today in Syria was 15547 pounds for purchase and 15,669 pounds for sale on the unauthorised (black) parallel market.

This Friday, October 7, 2022, the dollar strengthens relative to the Syrian pound.
