The 27th session of the United Nations Climate Conference (COP27), which is scheduled to take place in Sharm El Sheikh in November, will feature high-level participation, according to Spanish Trade Minister Ziana Mendes Bertolo. Spain is also confident in the success of the climate conference it is hosting. Egypt is in charge of it.
During her conversation with Dr.
Hala Al-Saeed, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, expressed confidence that the conference would yield the desired outcomes, particularly in light of the challenging financial targets to double investments in green projects. Spain is also keen to deepen its cooperation with Egypt in the area of green investment and renewable energy projects.
The Spanish Minister of Trade continued by stating that Egypt is a crucial strategic partner for Spain and that there is excellent economic and trade cooperation between the two nations, notably in the areas of renewable energy, green economy, and sustainable development.
