“Nobody wants him” .. Manchester United are confident Ronaldo will stay

Due to the lack of interest from other teams, the Manchester United administration is sure that Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo will play for the squad at least through the end of the current campaign.
In order to play in the Champions League, Ronaldo intended to depart before the season began. As the winter Mercato season got underway in January, speculation that he might leave “Old Trafford” intensified.

According to ESPN, the management is confident that the 37-year-old won’t leave in the winter due to a lack of demand for his services.
After the club’s administration informed Dutch coach Ten Hag that it had no plans to make any additional acquisitions in January, his departure rate similarly reduced.
With only one goal and one assist in nine games in all competitions this season, Ronaldo has suffered this season from sitting on the team’s bench and a lack of scoring instinct.

According to a recent statement by Ten Hag about one of his players, “I think not paying him while we’re 4-0 down (against Manchester City) is a respect for him, it has nothing to do with what happens in the future, what happens next January or next year.”
I don’t see him depressed, he is pleased, and he is working well, the Dutch coach continued. Everybody exercises well. The team has a positive attitude.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s not thrilled that he didn’t play on Sunday, but the question was about his attitude at practise, where he’s happy.

Nobody is interested in him. Ronaldo will remain, Manchester United are certain.
