Nova Scotia gas prices rise by 8 cents ahead of Thanksgiving long weekend

After petrol prices increased by eight cents overnight, Nova Scotians are now paying more at the pump on Friday.
The current maximum price for self-serve standard unleaded gasoline in the Halifax area is $16.50 per litre.
Cape Breton residents pay up to 169.4 cents per litre, compared to 168.6 cents in Guysborough, Pictou, Colchester, Antigonish, and Cumberland counties.

The new maximum price per litre in the counties of Kings, Lunenburg, and eastern Annapolis is 168 cents, whereas 168.5 cents is now the price in the counties of Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens, and Digby in western Annapolis County.
Additionally, the price of diesel in Nova Scotia increased by 15 cents on Friday. As a result, the maximum price of diesel is currently between 215 and 217 cents depending on where you are in the province.

In Canada, gas prices are gradually rising in advance of the long Thanksgiving holiday.

Before the long Thanksgiving weekend, petrol rates in Nova Scotia are increasing by 8 cents.
