Man rushed to hospital in critical condition after Toronto apartment fire

According to authorities, a man was taken by ambulance to the hospital in severe condition following a fire at a residential structure.
Around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, Toronto Fire reported that they were summoned to a 15-story building in the vicinity of Blackthorne Avenue and Venn Crescent, close to Eglinton Avenue and Caledonia Road.
A representative for Toronto Fire noted that on the 14th floor, there was a lot of smoke when firemen arrived.
According to them, personnel also discovered a person who had no vital signs, which prompted firefighters to do CPR.

According to fire officials, the patient was then brought to Toronto paramedics for treatment.
According to Toronto paramedics, they took a man to the hospital who had serious injuries.
The fire was controlled to one unit and was put out very fast.
