This week, the Dubai Land Department’s real estate transactions totaled more than 7.3 billion dirhams. The department witnessed the registration of 1,809 sales totaling 5.44 billion dirhams, including 1,711 allegiances to flats and villas for 4.47 billion dirhams and 98 allegiances to land worth 975.52 million dirhams.
The most significant land sales totaled 74 million dirhams in the Business Bay area, then pledges of 72 and 58 million dirhams in the Umm Al Sheif and Palm Jumeirah regions, respectively.
In terms of the total number of allegiances, Jebel Ali First Region came in first. It recorded 18 pledges totaling 58 million dirhams, followed by the fifth district of Al-Habiya (15 pledges totaling 52 million dirhams), and the third in Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens (14 pledges totaling 293 million dirhams).
Regarding the most significant sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 55 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area came in first, then a pledge of 42 million dirhams, and lastly a pledge of 36 million dirhams in the same area.
In terms of apartment and villa sales, the Business Bay region led all other regions with 211 pledges of allegiance totaling 363 million dirhams. The Palm Jumeirah area came in second with 143 pledges of allegiance totaling one billion dirhams, and Umm Suqeim came in third with 137 pledges of allegiance totaling 370 million dirhams.
A total of 1.47 billion dirhams in mortgages were registered, including 83 land mortgages totalling $443.
326 mortgages for apartments and villas totaling 94 million dirhams and 1.03 billion dirhams in value.
Regarding the donations, it saw the registration of 157 presents totaling 418.56 million dirhams, the largest of which was in the Business Bay neighbourhood and was worth 180 million dirhams, as well as another in the Dubai Marina neighbourhood, which was worth 65 million dirhams.
Real estate transactions in Dubai totaled 7.3 billion dirhams in a single week.
