Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, emphasised that NATO supports Ukraine in its efforts to oppose Russia and impose global hegemony.
Lavrov stated in his statement at the United Russia party’s meeting of the International Cooperation Council, “Our attitude on nuclear deterrence has not changed and rests on Russia’s nuclear doctrine. Washington is attempting to misrepresent us in order to scare the world into passing a resolution supporting the Kyiv dictatorship.
“The recent words by Ukrainian President Zelensky demonstrate that the Kyiv regime constitutes a threat to international security,” the Russian foreign minister said, adding that the EU supports the utopian objectives of the Ukrainian authorities.
