When Ittihad Jeddah hosts Al-Fateh in the sixth round of the Saudi Professional League Roshan on Friday, it hopes to resume its winning streak after its most recent draw with its host Al-Nasr.
Ittihad Jeddah was unable to draw the game against Al-Nasr in the previous round, allowing goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe to maintain his perfect record in the Saudi League.
Before the commencement of the sixth round, Al-Ittihad is in third place with 11 points after three wins over Al-Adala, Al-Raed, and Al-Khaleej and two draws with Al-Ettifaq and Al-Nasr.
Al-Fayha, on the other hand, climbed to ninth place with 6 points from two wins, the second of which came at the cost of Al-Batin, although it suffered defeats to Al-Taawun, Al-Hilal, and Al-Taie. This was possible because of its recent victory over Abha.
Tariq Hamed, an Egyptian player for Ittihad Jeddah, would be missed after he was dismissed from the previous win match.
Last season, Ittihad Jeddah won the first leg with three goals and no opposition, but the return match was quite exciting with the score at 4-4.
The rookie will play Al-Adala Al-Fateh in a match because no team has won so far. The rookie has one point, while Al-Adala Al-Fateh has two.
Ittihad Jeddah will try to overtake Al-Fateh by going first.
