Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s energy minister, dispelled rumours regarding the effects of the “OPEC +” agreement to cut oil production.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stated during a news briefing that cutting production by 500,000 barrels per day was illogical and incorrect.
Without diminishing the group that already exists, he continued, “the real decrease may fall on her shoulders, but in our judgement, it will be in the neighbourhood of one million to one million and 100 barrels per day.
With respect to each nation’s rights, he stated, “Each has the right to maintain its capacity to generate its part, but it remains a question of discretion.”
The number 500 000 barrels is a delusion.
