Zaporozhye authorities: Kyiv forces plan a provocation aimed at flooding the nuclear plant

Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporozhye Provincial Administration Council, claimed that the Ukrainian forces are gathering information regarding the unchecked water discharge at hydroelectric power plants in order to flood the Zaporozhye nuclear plant.

He claimed that over the previous three weeks, the business management unit had gathered data regarding the nuclear power plant’s capabilities in the event of an uncontrolled water discharge from the chain of hydroelectric power plants, including the Kremenchug hydropower plant, the central Dnieper hydropower plant, and the Dnieper hydroelectric plant.

According to Rogov, “this suggests that direct provocations relating to the Dnieper hydroelectric power station collapse or the opening of the hydroelectric dam are being prepared.”
He claimed that flooding the Zaporozhye nuclear power facility was the major objective.
