Ukrainian army: We shot down 6 Iranian marches in the south

The Ukrainian army declared today that Iranian marches have begun to appear on the front lines, despite Moscow and Tehran having previously denied supplying Iranian marches to Russian soldiers.
Six Iranian Shahed-136 drones were shot down at night, according to a statement on Telegram posted today, Wednesday, by the Ukrainian military command in the south.
According to AFP, those planes were shot down in the Mykolaiv region, according to command spokesperson Natalia Gumniuk.

A person was hurt in the first attack of its sort, according to the governor of the town of Bila Tserkva, roughly 100 kilometres south of Kiev, who also said that the drones were produced in Iran.
Governor Oleksiy Kuleba said on Telegram, “During the night, the enemy carried out strikes by Shahed 136 drones, creating fires.”

In addition, he cited infrastructure problems in this city, which had a population of roughly 200,000 before the beginning of the Russian military operation on February 24.
It is significant that in September of last year, Ukraine came out for the first time about Russian drone assaults, emphasising that they mostly targeted the country’s south, especially the Black Sea city of Odessa.

At the time, it also declared that Iran would cut its diplomatic representation in the nation, presenting Moscow with rallies. Iran, on the other hand, expressed remorse for making this choice and rejected Moscow’s military assistance.
